Android 10 could roll out to the Xiaomi Mi 9T as early as next month

Xiaomi Mi 9T owners will not have to wait very long to receive the Android 10 update. According to a report from Ausdroid, Xiaomi has said that it plans to roll out the Android 10 update for the Mi 9T sometime next month.

The Mi 9T is the global variant of the Redmi K20 that is sold in markets such as China and India. Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, which was launched in Europe last month, is the global variant of the Redmi K20 Pro.

Even though the Ausdroid report does not mention anything regarding the Android 10 update for the Mi 9T Pro, we expect it to receive the major OS upgrade around the same time as the Mi 9T.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T comes with a 6.39-inch bezel-less display having water drop notch, which maximizes the screen space usage and offers a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. It also comes with a pixel density of 403 PPI, which adds sharpness to its contents. The AMOLED screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass, which act as a screen protector. It has a fingerprint scanner on the screen.
The device gets power from Li-ion battery, which comes with a capacity of 4,000mAh and keeps the device active for sufficient hours. It also offers fast charging feature.
