Xiaomi is expected to launch its latest Mi Notebook Air laptop today (March 26) in China. The company has scheduled an event for the same. Xiaomi posted a teaser of the launch on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The teaser highlights that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air will weigh 1.07kg and will be lighter as compared to the MacBook Air.
Apart from this, no other information about the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air is available right now. It is expected that the device will be powered by 8th-generation Intel Core processor and may come with upgraded GPU, RAM and storage options.
Xiaomi introduced the Mi Notebook Air for the first time in 2016. This time it is also expected that Xiaomi might include 4G support in the Mi Notebook Air. Xiaomi has not yet launched the Mi Notebook in India, so, it is still not clear that whether this device will come to India or not.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and run Android 8.0 Oreo Go Edition. The device comes with a 5-inch HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The handset packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.
The Xiaomi Redmi Go incorporates an infrared sensor and comes preloaded with the toned down version of all the Google apps. The smartphone is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
